Operators and drivers
Every NifRide trip is booked through a private hire operator licensed by a local council and driven by a licensed private hire driver in a licensed vehicle.
The operator for each booking, and the council that licensed them, are shown in the app before you book and on your receipt.
Private hire, not taxis
NifRide cars are private hire vehicles. They must be booked in advance through the app and can’t be hailed on the street.
