NifRide is made by McNif Global. Our founder drives private hire, and knows first-hand what’s broken.
The story
Why we built it
Drivers were handing over a quarter of every fare, or more, and couldn’t see where it went. Riders couldn’t tell who the licensed operator behind their trip was.
So we built a platform where the split is fixed and visible on every trip. Drivers keep at least 85%. Every booking runs through a licensed local operator, and riders can see which one.
We start in Walsall, because it’s home. Then we grow across the West Midlands, one operator at a time.

Who’s responsible for your trip
Every NifRide trip is booked through a licensed private hire operator and driven by a licensed private hire driver. The operator for each booking, and the council that licensed them, are shown in the app and on your receipt.
NifRide is a technology platform run by McNif Global Ltd. We work with operators who want to bring their fleet to NifRide.
